Easter Events and Egg Hunts in Apex 2023

Easter this year is Sunday, April 9th and there are several opportunities to bring the kiddos out for some fun all around Apex, Cary, and Holly Springs this year! Registration is required for many of the activities on this list (and they fill up fast!), so click the links below for anything of interest to register for an event before all the spots are gone.

Saturday, March 25th - Spring Fling

  • Where: Ting Park at 101 Sportsmanship Way in Holly Springs

  • When: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM (egg hunt begins at noon)

  • How Much: FREE to Attend!

  • More Details: Community Yard Sale also set up from 8:00AM -12:00 PM



Tuesday, March 28th - Ultimutt Dog Egg Hunt

  • Where: Apex Nature Park at 2600 Evans Road

  • When: 6:00 PM and 6:45 PM

  • How Much: FREE to Attend for Apex Annual Dog Park Pass holders

  • More Details: Registration required



  • Where: Apex Nature Park at 2600 Evans Road

  • When: 8:15 PM

  • How Much: FREE to Attend!

  • More Details: Ages 10-13; Registration Required; Bring a flashlight



  • Where: Apex Community Park at 2200 Laura Duncan Road

  • When: 8:15 PM

  • How Much: FREE to Attend!

  • More Details: For individuals with disabilities; Registration required; Bring a flashlight



Saturday, April 1st - Sunday, April 9th - Pictures with the Easter Bunny

  • Where: Bass Pro Shops at 801 Bass Pro Lane in Cary

  • When: Times vary each day

  • How Much: FREE 4x6 Photo (option to purchase additional photos)

  • More Details: Reservations open up on week in advance (not required); Dogs welcome for photos too



Saturday, April 1st - Apex Bunny Trail Egg Hunt

  • Where: Apex Community Park at 2200 Laura Duncan Road

  • When: 9:00 - 11:15 AM (4 Different Time Slots)

  • How Much: FREE to Attend!

  • More Details: Registration Required



Saturday, April 1st - Breakfast with the Bunny

  • Where: Herbert C. Young Community Center at 101 Wilkinson Ave. in Cary

  • When: 9:00 - 10:00 AM

  • How Much: $5 for Ages 3 and Up; Free for 2 and Under

  • More Details: Advanced ticket purchase required


Saturday, April 1st - Hippity Hop Easter Egg Hunt

  • Where: Two Locations in Cary

    • Alston Ridge Middle School Football Field at 7833 Fussell Ave.

    • WakeMed Soccer Park Cross Country Field at 101 Soccer Park Dr.

  • When: Check-in at 9:15 AM, Egg Hunt begins at 10:00 AM

  • How Much: FREE

  • More Details: Ages 3-12; Registration required; Bring your own basket


Saturday, April 1st - Easter Egg Hunt

  • Where: Parkside Town Commons at 7129 O’Kelly Chapel Road in Cary

  • When: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

  • How Much: FREE

  • More Details: Children 10 and Under; Rain date is April 2nd


Tuesday, April 4th - Easter Eggstravaganza

  • Where: Marla Dorrel Park at 111 Thurston Drive in Cary

  • When: Two Egg Hunts - 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM

  • How Much: FREE

  • More Details: Individuals with intellectual and/or physical disabilities; Ages 4 and Up; Registration Not Required


Saturday, April 8th - Easter Egg Hunt

  • Where: Crossroads Plaza at 401 Crossroads Boulevard in Cary

  • When: 11:00 - 2:00 PM

  • How Much: FREE

  • More Details: Includes a total of 4 egg hunts each for different age groups



  • Where: Fortnight Brewing at 1006 SW Maynard Road in Cary

  • When: 12:00 - 5:00 PM

  • How Much: FREE to Attend!

  • More Details: Must reserve a free ticket for each child participating in the egg hunt (Ages 1-4 at 12:00, Ages 5-7 at 1:00, and Ages 7-12 at 2:00)
